What a fantastic effort from the community
of Skerries as we hleped smash the target
BT Ireland set for ourselves to beat last
year’s target of €157k!
This year, BT Irelands Shop For Change
– Irish Cancer Society
raised a whopping
amount raised an amazing €220,668!!!
Their allocated shop in Swords raised
€22,400 of this, which accounts for 10%
of the overall total. An amazing result
and an amazing effort from all those who
supported such a worthy cause.

BT Ireland sent us a lovely note of thanks:
“On behalf of BT Ireland, I would like
to express my sincere gratitude to
Fr Melvyn Mullins and to all those in
Skerries and who took the time to
root through their wardrobes and 
homes and donated to this very worthy
cause, you can feel very proud of yourselves…huge well done!”

In all, there were 250 BT volunteers that took over 25 Irish Cancer & Marie Curie shops to raise vital funds on 23rd November, 2017.

In raising the astounding €220,688 for Irish Cancer Society and Marie Curie BT Shop for Change has go on to raise €683,840 euro over it's six years in service. Over 110 BT employees, from the leading communications and IT Services Company, took part in the Republic of Ireland alone, raising an incredible €148,150 for the Irish Cancer Society.

From the outset, staff from across the business enthusiastically got involved raising cash through in-store sales, auctions, on-street performances, quizzes, dressing up, baking cakes and much more. In total a stagering 4,200 bags of clothes were collected for the shops
to sell raise money.

Well done to the community of Skerries on being so much a part of it!
